Date of death estimated from census returns. His last child was born in 1875, and his wife was a widow by the time of the 1881 census. Date of birth estimated from christening date obtained on visit to East Sussex Records Office Lewes 30/03/2011 - baptised as Comber, not Coomber. This confirmed the names of his parents, and they were living at Turks. Surname on daughter Elizabeth's birth certificate down as Comber, not Coomber. He was down as an agricultural labourer, and could not write his name.He married Sarah Ann Streater Q2 1862 in the Uckfield district, 2b, 153. 6/9/2011 looked at Rotherfield burials from 1847 through to 1915 - there was no burial record for him. Have tried to locate a death registration for him at the local registrar offices for both East Sussex and Kent, as Frant is on the border, but neither of those offices have any record for his death. Neither have I been able to locate a burial record for him, and I have tried many burial registers all around the area.
