Notes:

Witnesses at wedding to George - Henry Robert Fenner and Robert Fenner. On trying to find where Caroline was buried, I have ruled out the cemeteries at Kingston and Surbiton - they have a searchable database, and she is not on there. She is not at St John's churchyard in Malden - I have confirmed this with the Parish Administrator.Nor was she cremated at North East Surrey Crematorium, Morden, SM4 4NU.Although they share the same grounds, they do not hold the burial records for the Morden Cemetery at the cremation office. The records are held by Wandsworth Council at their Putney Vale Office. 5/12/2011 I now have confirmation that Caroline Avis was buried at the Morden Cemetery, Lower Morden Lane, Merton, on 8th July 1964, aged 87, in Block U, grave number 615. The original photo of her posed looking to her left was taken at a Maidstone photography studio.
