Baptism register viewed at Lewes Records Office 31/5/2012 - the christenings of all John and Susannahs children showed that they were all baseborn/bastards. Buried 20/8/1814 aged 53, by J. Bale. He is believed to have married Elizabeth Nash. They had the following children, all baptised in Withyham to John and Elizabeth. Peter 4/6/1783, Mary 27/8/1786, Richard 19/5/1789, Ann 12/11/1792, Thomas 14/10/1796, Hannah 18/8/1799.
