14/6/2012 visit to Lewes Records Office viewed baptism details. Owen Avis, who is researching the Avis surname in this country, had Henry down as marrying Frances Poter nee Holmes(from Fletching), and I have found the attached marriage. It is believed that Henry died Q3 1865 in the Tonbridge area. I have the descendants that Owen believes come down from Henry and Frances.
