24/4/2012 checked baptism details at Lewes - When Eliza was christened, she went down as Eliza, daugher of Henney Deacon, abode Rotherfield, spinster. It is believed that her mother was the subject of a removal order from Rotherfield to Mayfield when she was unmarried with a child in October 1831. Birth and death dates taken from ancestry.co.uk. Ancestry also shows that she married Stephen Chandler 8th June 1852 in Keymer(her surname was given as Deacon)est, Salt Lake City, Salt Lake, Utah, USA(obtained from ancestry). The 1851 census of Keymer shows that Eliza and her father and siblings were living next door to Stephen Chandler and his father.
