Married Philadelphia Botting 17/2/1817 aged 24 in Lamberhurst, Sussex. At time of 1851 census living in Sittingbourne, Kent, aged 58. Died in Sittingbourne 1864 aged 71, buried 22/12/1864 in Sittingbourne. They had the following children - Charlotte, b 1820, Ann, 1822-1841, John, b 1823, George, 1826-1849, David, 1828-1893, Sarah, 1830-1845, James, b 1832, William, 1834-1905, Fanny, 1836-1897, Mary Ann, 1839-1865.
