Details taken from theweald.org. 7/1/2013 Visit to Lewes Records Office found a Mayfield bastardy bond dated 24 May 1833, for a male child born 26 Feb 1833, against William Weston, carpenter of Mayfield, the reputed father of the illegitimate son of Lois Richardson. William had to pay 15 shillings costs to prepare the order, plus 2 shillings a week maintenance to Mayfield parish. Lois was also bound to pay 6 pennies a week to Mayfield parish, %22in case she shall not nurse and take care of the said child herself%22%21 The child was names William Weston Richardson, and an ancestry tree has him being baptised 14/4/1833 in Mayfield, and marrying Lois Cornwell 11/3/1857 in Mayfield. He is also living with his grandparents Samuel and Martha Richardson in the 1841 and 1851 censuses.%0D%0A%0D%0A
