Married Martha Killick - confirmed 9/8/2011 at Lewes Records Office.On visit to Lewes Records Office 20/9/2011, found that there were several children baptised, parents John and Martha Deacon, at the Rotherfield Baptist Chapel (non-conformist). 10/11/1780 John Deacon. 24/11/1782 David Deacon. 14/1/1785 William. 28/2/1786 Sarah. 17/12/1788 Thomas. 1/1/1791 James. 27/4/1792 Ann. 18/7/1974 Hannah. 9/1/1797 George.23/11/2011 Burial register at Lewes Records Office confirmed burial date/place. Also noted that his wife Martha was buried 22/11/1807 at Rotherfield Parish Church. Genealogydepot.com shows that Sarah, christened 1786, was buried at Rotherfield 11/12/1842, aged 56. She married Samuel Martin 4/6/1805 at Rotherfield, and they had the following children. Mary, c 13/10/1805. Sarah, c 14/02/1808, Samuel, 4/3/1810, Maria, 25/3/1812, William, 16/03/1814, Harriet, 1815, James, 6/7/1818, Ann, 29/5/1819, Alfred, 1822, Rhoda, 26/12/1829, John, 28/02/1832.
