Details of marriage taken from parish record transcripts held at East Sussex Records Office, Lewes. 11/2/2012 - visit to Lewes Records Office confirmed George Deacon, son of George and Dorothy, was baptised 27/7/1718. Visit to records office 3/12/2013 confirmed that on 7/8/1717, a George Deacon, son of George Deacon, was buried - I believe that our George was named a year after the first died. I can find no christening record of the first George as yet.
