Notes:
1881 census shows surname as Deaton. Christening details obtained at Maidstone Records Office 15/02/2011. Surname in those records down as 'Eaton'.Within those christening records we could see that a Kate Edith Deacon was christened on 5/8/1894, parents Frederick and Annie Elizabeth Deacon, living in Millhouse, Romford, Pembury. (Edward Deacon, Frederick's father, was here at the time of his death in 1899).Frederick was a labourer. The vicar was J. Harford-Battersby. Similarly, the same parents had a child Frederick Henry Deacon christened on 30/05/1897 in Pembury. They were living at The Groves, Shotoner, Oxon, and the father was a gamekeeper. Frederick's first wife was Annie Elizabeth, whose death was registered Q3 1901 aged 31, in Stratford on Avon, Warwickshire. They were living there at the time of the 1901 census. I believe that Frederick married Annie Elizabeth Haylor Q1 1890 in Holywell in Flintshire, only about 6 miles from Llanasa, where they were living at the time of the 1891 census. There is also a christening record for an Olive Mabel Irene Deacon, christened 28/05/1905, parents this time Frederick and Mabel, with the father a greengrocer, the vicar H. Sinclair Brooke, and they were living in Hastings Road Pembury. Frederick remarried in Q1 1904 to Florence Mabel Bellingham, at Eastry, Kent. 25/06/2011 Pembury burial records viewed at Maidstone Records Office and record found for Frederick, buried on 18/03/1915 aged 46, living at Silverdale Road, Tunbridge Wells, Vicar H. Sinclair Brook, number in Pembury grave register C443. His mother Ellen remarried at the age of 68, and her husband William Terry was only 38, in 1913. Her son Frederick and his wife Mabel were witnesses at this wedding.17/8/2011 looked at Lower Green Cemetery map at Pembury Parish Council, grave number 443, registration number 599.
